Lindsay Todd
Non-Executive Chairman
Lindsay joined SSAS Solutions as Non-Executive Chairman in 2015.
Lindsay has substantial relevant business, governance and pensions
experience. He was a UK equity partner in PwC for almost 25 years,
holding a number of posts prior to retiring in 2012 from his final role
as Head of Tax in N.I. Lindsay is also currently a N.I. Judicial
Appointments Commissioner; a member of the N.I. Local Government
Pension Scheme's Pensions Board; a member of the Advisory
Committee to the N.I. Central Investment Fund for Charities as well
as being a Trustee Director of a leading charity and a School
Governor.
Lindsay has advised businesses, public bodies, individuals and
trustees throughout the UK over many years, including many of N.I.'s
most successful companies and entrepreneurs. In particular, he has
several decades of experience in advising on SSAS's, including acting
as a Professional Trustee. He is a government appointee to N.I.'s
largest pension fund - the Local Government Pension Scheme, which
is responsible for the investment of assets of approximately £6billion
and has previously advised government on a variety of pension
issues.
